Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
- In the dish, pour marinara sauce and mix in half a cup of Parmesan cheese. Spread sauce evenly across the bottom.
- Add chicken, ensuring each piece is coated with sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil, top with remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to oven, uncovered, and bake another 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
To customize, swap chicken for eggplant or zucchini for a vegetarian version, or use different cheeses like provolone or Asiago for a flavor twist.
