Lazy Chicken Parmesan

Lazy Chicken Parmesan is the easy way to get all the cheesy, saucy goodness of traditional chicken parm without the work. Using pre-made ingredients, it’s quick, comforting, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken breasts tenders, or pre-cooked chicken patties
  • Jarred marinara sauce or tomato basil sauce
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional seasonings: basil garlic powder, salt, pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In the dish, pour marinara sauce and mix in half a cup of Parmesan cheese. Spread sauce evenly across the bottom.
  3. Add chicken, ensuring each piece is coated with sauce.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, top with remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return to oven, uncovered, and bake another 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

To customize, swap chicken for eggplant or zucchini for a vegetarian version, or use different cheeses like provolone or Asiago for a flavor twist.
