- 1 lb sausage (any sausage of your choice)
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 3 cups rotini pasta, cooked al dente
- 32 oz marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, sausage (if using), and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. - Combine with Pasta & Sauce
Stir in marinara sauce and cooked rotini pasta. Mix until everything is evenly coated. - Assemble & Top
Transfer mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese. - Bake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden top, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end. - Serve
Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
